Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Dave Treen has been touring for over
37 years, performing throughout the Delaware Valley, North Jersey-NY Metro area,
and around the DelMarVa region. He also frequently tours throughout central US, New
England, New York State, and throughout the South. With his guitars "Justina" and
“Wrasse”, Dave performs original classic rock and blues mixed with fusion and reggae
conveying Biblically realistic messages through soul-gripping lyrics and emotionally
Based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, the "Birdman" as he is known in the musical realm,
has over 42 years of musical experience which includes over half a dozen studio sessions,
numerous theater musicals, a bronze medal performance at the Floridaworld Music Festival
and on Sundays playing bass in his Church's contemporary service band.
While on tour, Dave has been joined on-stage by Kenny Blackman (bassist, Funkadelics)
and Lanise Hughes (Rick James' drummer), and shared a billing with Mike Deasy (guitarist
for Billy Joel and Kenny Loggins). Dave has recorded with Daoud Shaw (drummer, Van
Morrison, Jerry Garcia Band). Dave has also musically mingled with Victor Wooten
(bassist, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones) and Randy Stonehill. KYW News Radio featured
Dave and his prison music ministry and Dave appeared in the WTHU studio, MD for a
live on-aire performance/interview. Dave's August 31, 2003 Bridgeton, NJ concert
aired live on the Southwood Broadcasting Network and was recorded for encore performances
and his bands' July 4, 2000 Phila., PA show was featured on NBC Channel 10 television.
